I have this idea of writing a few short stories on a theme
of hotwives embarking on exotic adventures. ‘An Affair In The Desert’ is the
first one in the series. It is about a couple who are stranded in the desert,
and fortunately for them, they are discovered by some rather unusual saviours.
And the couple's fortune does not end with being only saved from the hot desert sun.
Those of you who read my books know that I like my stories to have a little
twist, and this one will be no exception. ‘An Affair In The Desert’ was
supposed to be short, or rather ‘shortish’, with around 30,000-32,000 words.
However, I have always had difficulty keeping things short, and since my
characters like things to last long (pun intended), the story is now almost
60,000 words long! So it won’t be short nor ‘shortish’, but I am glad to say
that I am finalising the third draft, and the book will be out soon.
